Happy December, everyone! Our blog has been busted for awhile now, and we just haven’t had time to spend on it, plus the dog ate our homework! At any rate, Brian worked his magic and now we’re finally getting around to sharing some photos from the last few months. If all goes well, I’ll be posting a new batch of photos every couple of days until we’re somewhat caught up. For those of you who are regular viewers, sorry it has been so long!
Here we go with the first batch of shots, from late August. These are from our summer vacation in the North Conway, NH region. We stayed near Storyland for a few nights and then moved to a house on the lovely Middle Pea Porridge Pond. Other than some illness in the beginning and an evening spent with Zach at the ER for a possible beach-pebble ingestion, it was a great trip and we’d love to revisit the area. I’ll share photos from Storyland in a separate post sometime soon. Stay tuned, and welcome back!

The beautiful Echo Lake State Park. We had a chilly vacation but the water was warm here.

Zach had learned to walk the week before but we still spent much of our vacation holding his hands as he walked around exploring.

Sand Castles with Daddy

Huh?

Happy, happy in the sun.

Our first rental house had a giant bathtub and we all hopped in together.

Z loved getting squirted.

Playing on the little beach at our second rental house. The shed was PACKED with toys!

Zach’s favorite was this boat, which in the days before he could pronounce T’s at the end of words he always called a “boap.”

Relaxing in a beach chair.

Thoughtful.

Sand!

Balancing in a canoe (on the shore).

Ready for a ride!

Mommy & Zach at the playground on our last day of vacation.

Daddy & Sophie on the see-saw.

Enjoying the merry-go-round.
